Install Tearleads on Linux

The Linux download supports x64 processors from Intel and AMD. We test it on Ubuntu 24.04.

  1. Install the desktop libraries. On Ubuntu 24.04, run:
    sudo apt install libgtk-3-0 libwebkit2gtk-4.1-0 libayatana-appindicator3-1 librsvg2-2 libnss3 libasound2t64 libgbm1
  2. Download the Linux archive and its SHA-256 checksum.
  3. Verify the download by running sha256sum -c followed by the checksum filename.
  4. Extract the .tar.gz archive using your file manager.
  5. Open a terminal in the extracted folder and run ./installer as your regular user.

The installer adds Tearleads to your application menu and opens the app. A desktop session is required.
